The new king of off-roading is here, Hummer EV. GMC on 20th October launched its well know tough SUV but this time it's electric and a truck. GMC teased the launch a while ago. Being electric this new Hummer has more power than its previous generation.

GMC calls it this is a first-of-its-kind super-truck that is developed and forged to run without emissions.
The new Hummer will run with 3 motors that are capable enough to develop 1000 horsepower. The 24 modules double-stacked Ultium battery is claimed to provide a range of a minimum of 350 miles (563 km). Talking about the charging it supports 800-volt fast-charging up to 350kw, there's also an option to add extra 100 miles by just charging it for 10 minutes.
The pickup of this super-truck is also good enough. It can go from 0-100 km in just 3 seconds.
The president of GM said this will allow the GMC to move a step closer to become an all-electric automotive company. This Hummer is suitable for customers who are willing to go off-road whenever they want, added the president.
Talking about the design the sideline is long straight which gives Hummer a bolder younger and futuristic design. It's a lot more appealing aesthetically as well as performance-wise.
The Hummer is well equipped with features such as underbody cameras, air suspension, six-way tailgates, transparent removable roof, and much more.
The most interesting feature that grabbed my attention was "crabwalk".This feature enables the Hummer to move sideways similar to a crab. This will be useful where the roads are quite narrow.

The production is expected to begin late in 2021 and the price is set at $ 112.595 (Rs. 83 lakh). With the launch of Hummer GMC has set a mark in the world of the electric truck.
