The Russian GP was another great race in F1 history. After the crashy Tuscon GP, this was also a bit hectic race. The practice of race and qualifiers were so nail-biting. Hamilton was very few inches away for getting disqualified but he managed to leave the other racers behind and finished at P5.
Bottas won the race whereas Max Verstappen secured P2 position closing with Hamilton.
Sebastian Vettel once again crashed into the fence.
In the main event, Hamilton was handed with a two-second penalty for colliding with other drivers. He's one penalty away for a race ban. Although he was penalized he managed to secured third position.
Sergio Perez finished a season-best at fourth beating Daniel Ricciardo with a fine move around the outside at Turn four.
The Safety Car was called on the opening lap for two incidents, the first when Carlos Sainz misjudged his entry to the track around the blocks at Turn Three and slammed his left-front tire into the wall, and the other when Lance Stroll was spun around at Turn Four by Charles Leclerc.
