AUDI'S AGGRESSIVE Q5 SPORTBACK LAUNCHED

 Audi unveiled its new bolder, aggressive Q5 Sportback. This is the sport version of the regular Q5.  The Q5 Sportback will be available in an all-wheel-drive with a seven-speed automatic gearbox. It will also available in a plug-in hybrid version.

This Audi will compete directly with BMW X5 and Mercedes GLC. The new design grabs all the attention towards it which will be great for the people who like to show-off.

The Audi Q5 Sportback falls under the category of CUV (crossover utility vehicle) and becomes the 3rd CUV from Audi after the eTron and Q3 Sportback.

DESIGN ASPECTS:-

Talking about the design, the designers didn't fail they gave an aggressive yet a sporty look the new Q5. It got a larger air inlet at the front which is incorporated into an octagonal shaped grille with a honeycomb design. The headlights are of LED DRLs and will get an option of a matrix LED in the future. The main highlight of the design is the shoulder line seeping right into the taillights. This gives the Q5 a bolder sportier look. The rear of the car has been stretched and made wider than the earlier model. Also the Muscular line between the tail light.

The Sportback variant is 7mm longer than the regular Q5. A longer wheelbase variant of Q5 will be exclusively built and launched in China and will be 88mm longer than the Q5.

SPECIFICATIONS:-

With a high ground clearance, it gets510  litres of boot space but when the second-row seat goes down it expands the boot space up to 1000 litres. The ground clearance can be increased by 45 mm. The wheel diameter ranges from 18 to 21 inches. The main infotainment system consists of a 10.1-inch screen and a 12 .3-inch screen with HUD (heads up display). It also got adaptive cruise control, park assist, in-lane feature, and predictive efficiency assist.

ENGINE:-

The Q5 will be powered with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine which will provide 198 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. It will be coupled with a seven-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission unit with Quattro ultra technology. It will be also available with a mild-hybrid variant to enhance its performance.

There will also be a V6 TDI engine and a two 2.0-liter TFSI engine and a plug-in hybrid engine.

The Q5 will be made in Mexico's Plant and will hit the international market in the first half of 2021.
