The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa has been revealed & is faster than ever before. Has got a lot more exterior and interior updates. Read till the end to know more.
Key Highlights:-
- Got a whole bunch of features.
- Faster than before
- Has six riding modes.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa has been launched in India at ₹16.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the third-generation model of the legendary motorcycle and was globally revealed in February. Considering that, the bike has reached our shores in a short span. Now, of course, the new Hayabusa is substantially expensive than the previous-gen model that used to retail at around ₹14 lakh. But this is because the superbike has come to India via CBU (completely built-up) route, although we do expect the prices to come down once Suzuki starts locally assembling the motorcycle here. The new Hayabusa has a similar silhouette as the previous generation model but some cosmetic changes have made it appear sportier than before. The motorcycle also packs in a plethora of electronic interventions, something that was missing on the predecessor. And of course, the new Hayabusa is propelled by a BS6-compliant powertrain. Now, if you are interested in booking the new Hayabusa, then you can do so for a token amount of ₹1 lakh online or by visiting a Suzuki showroom.
Design:-
The new model has got some cosmetic touch up and has made a bit aggressive than before. Has got the best drag coefficient among the street-legal bikes. The new aggressive design is reflected by sharper lines that can be traced from the front fairing to the tail section. 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa comes sporting a new LED headlamp flanked by ram-air intakes and boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, new air vents, new air diffusers, and all-new body graphics. The overall aesthetics are complemented by slimmer exhaust canisters on either side and boomerang-shaped LED taillights.
Features & Engine Specification:-
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa
The new Hayabusa gets a part-digital part-analog panel that includes a TFT display for readouts like riding mode, lean angle, front and rear brake pressure, rate of acceleration of deceleration, current throttle opening, etc. The superbike also has provisions like cruise control with active speed limiter, traction control system, anti-lift control, launch control, hill-hold control, cornering ABS, six-axis inertial measurement unit, and more. There are six riding modes on offer, three of which can be customized by the rider. The Suzuki Hayabusa still uses the 1,340cc, four-cylinder engine capacity, but it has been tweaked for 2021. The changes include lighter pistons, new connecting rods, and fuel injectors. That said, both power and torque figures have gone down. It now makes 190hp as compared to the previous-gen’s 197hp, while the peak torque of 150Nm is also slightly lower than before.
