Lamborghini launched the new HURACÁN STO. It is the lighter yet faster version of the Huracan family. It was teased a few days ago.
This was showcased in a virtual event on Wednesday evening. The STO gets a V10 engine which is enough to generate 650Hp and 565Nm of peak torque. It can go from 0-100 kph in just 3 secs, 0-200 in just 9 secs, and has a top speed of 310 kph.
The front bonnet, fenders and rear bumpers are made into one component, named as "cofango" created by Lamborghini engineers which means "cofano", the hood and "parafango", the fender.
The new air ducts on the front side allow for better cooling of the engine and increase the drag force.
The STO is made up of 75% of carbon fibre and weighs only 1339 kg which is 43 kg lighter than the Huracan Perfomante.
There are 3 drive modes, STO mode for roads, Trofeo for dry asphalt tracks and Pioggia mode for rains.
Brakes are derived from F1 cars, named as Brembo CCM-R carbon-ceramic.
Talking about the pricing it is offered for a stunning price tag of $328,000 (Rs. 2.43 crores).
