Hyundai launched its new updated i20 in India today. Hyundai has been teasing about the i20 for a while but now the wait is over. i20 has some facial as well as engine upgrades.
ENGINES:-
There is three-engine options, 1.0-litre Turbo Gasoline direct injection (GDI) petrol engine, 1.2 Kappa Petrol engine, and 1.5 U2 Common rail direct injection (CRDi) Diesel engine. All engines have four cylinders.
The i20 is available in 4 trims- Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O). The 1.0-litre variant produces 120hp and 172 Nm of torque and is mated with 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and iMT (manual but without clutch pedal) gearbox.
The 1.2-litre variant produces 3hp and 115Nm of torque and is mated with a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox which helps in increasing the Hp to 88hp which is 5 more than the manual.
Talking about the diesel variant, it manages to produce 100hp and is being mated with 6-speed manual gearbox.

DESIGN:-
Talking about the design, it is more sharp and sporty than the Elite i20 which is now replaced by this updated i20. The front grille is now wider, new headlight, DRLs, and also the taillights are new.
It will be available in six color options:- Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Starry Night, and Metallic Cooper.

Hyundai has packed the new i20 to the brim with features. The top-spec Asta (O) trim gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Hyundai’s ‘BlueLink’ connected car features. This trim also gets a digital instrument cluster, a 7 speaker Bose sound system, sunroof, a wireless phone charger, ambient lighting and much more.
It also has 6-airbags, ABS with EED, electronic stability control, and much more.
PRICING:-
The i20 is priced at Rs. 6.80 Lakh and goes all the way up to Rs. 9.67 Lakh.
