" As a team we understand how difficult it has been for Honda Motor Company to reach the decision to step back from F1 at the end 2021 season and we respect that," said Christian Horner, Red Bull team boss.

Horner also said the team will need some time to find a new engine supplier.

AlphaTauri's boss Franz Tost mentioned that the decision by Honda was "unfortunate".

Honda has been the best power unit supplier and is the only one who can give tough to Mercedes in 2020. Despite of success they decided to quit F1.
