Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 launched at Rs. 2.43 Crore in India

 The Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 made its debut in 2019 and is now finally available in India at Rs. 2.43 Crores. This is the first SUV to be launched under Maybach Brand and will serve the luxury purpose in India.

The 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 will go on sale in India today, and we'll be bringing you all the live updates from the launch event here. It is the first SUV to be launched under the Maybach brand and will serve as the company's flagship SUV in India. The new Maybach GLS 600 made in global debut in 2019, and it's now expected to be launched in India as a CBU or Completely Built Unit. This means it will come with a premium price tag, and we have already told you our expectations with regards to its India pricing.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is based on the regular GLS SUV, however, like all Maybachs, this SUV also comes with a host of premium elements like - a large chrome radiator grille, along with an end-to-end chrome grille for the bumper, and thick chrome inserts attached to the skid plate. The SUV also gets chrome inserts on the B-pillar, the Mercedes-Maybach logo on the D-pillar, and massive 23-inch multi-spoke chrome wheels that come as an optional extra

Inside, the Maybach GLS 600 gets the option for a 4- or 5-seater cabin, and it comes with a 3135 mm long wheelbase, out of which the rear passengers get legroom of 1103 mm. The 4-seater version will get a fixed center console that has space for a refrigerator to store champagne bottles, along with silver champagne flutes. Other features including Nappa leather upholstery, electronic panoramic sliding/tilting sunroof with opaque roller blinds, ventilated massaging seats, and more.

Power on the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 comes from a 4.0-liter V8 engine that is tuned to develop 542 bhp and 730 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. The engine also comes paired with a 48-volt system EQ Boost mild-hybrid system that offers an additional 21 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.
