The Facelifted Gran Turismo variant of BMW 6 Series is here, priced at Rs. 67.90 Lakh which goes all the way up to Rs. 77.90 Lakh.
KEY POINTS:-
- Slimmer LED headlamps get Laser light tech on the M Sport variant
- The facelift brings in a larger touchscreen, Android Auto, and a ‘Reversing Assistant’ function
- Both types of diesel now feature twin-turbocharging
Exterior Design:-
The front nose with a slighter nip and the rear trunk with a slighter tuck give a sharper look to this GT variant. The kidney grilles are larger and the bumpers are re-profiled. Moreover, all variants now come with trapezoidal exhaust tips as standard. Still, the notchback-style 6 Series maintains its characteristic cues like the frameless windows and an active rear spoiler.
The German marque has also added a range of new paint shades to the color palette for the customers to choose from.
Features:-
The M-Sport package enables new design elements including trapezoidal exhaust pipes. The Bavarians offer a range of standard features with the new 6 Series GT including dual 12.3-inch infotainment screens, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls, new buttons on the center console, leather interior, electrically adjustable front seats, and so on.
These new features complement the outgoing model’s lengthy equipment list, which has been carried over, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, two 10.25-inch rear-seat entertainment screens, 360-degree parking camera, automatic parking, four-zone climate control, electrically adjustable rear seats, panoramic sunroof, LED headlights (now offered with a Laser light function on the higher M Sport trim), air suspension and doors with a soft close function.
Engine Specs:-
As before, the 6 Series GT is offered in three versions – the 630i petrol and the 620d and 630d diesel. The 630i continues with its 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged mill that makes 258hp and 400Nm. Notably, both types of a diesel get two-stage turbocharging this time around, though their power outputs remain unchanged. So, the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder motor in the 620d makes 190hp and 400Nm, and the 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine in the 630d puts out 265hp and 620Nm. An eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission is offered as standard.
