The researchers at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherland partnered with Dutch Airlines KLM tested its first model of the 'FLYING-V AIRPLANE'.

The Flying-V would one day carry passengers, cargo, and fuel tanks in its wings.

The Flying-V is more fuel-efficient than a normal airplane. It's also more aerodynamic than a normal plane.

The engineers and researchers tested a 22.5kg. 3-meter scale model of the plane. The researchers were building the model since Feb 2019.

They tested the model at a guarded base in Germany, where they worked with an Airbus team to test takeoffs, maneuvers, and landing of the V.
